Feeding begins at 3pm, you may arrive at 2pm to fill feed bags and hay bags; shift ends by 7pm (4 hours max per person per shift)

HILL: Feed horses in the back

BACK: Feed horses on the hill

BACK & HILL: Check, perform and initial medications as noted on med list

BACK & HILL: CHECK ALL WATERS AS YOU FEED EACH PADDOCK TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT FROZEN or NON Working A

BACK & HILL: Check and refill any water trough that is 1/4 full or less.

BACK & HILL: Send a hay chat message for any paddock that is in need of round bales or move yourself

BACK & HILL: Adjust blankets as needed for warmer/colder temps or if horses blankets are soaked through, update blanket board

BACK & HILL: Ensure all horses are acting normal per their baseline. Report any changes immediately. Any horse acting lethargic, dull, not wanting to eat, excessive laying down and/or rolling, limping or cuts/scratches

BACK & HILL: Scan over all paddocks and remove ANY twine you see or anything else that could be dangerous to a horse

Fill all hay nets in the Bowman barn (should be at least 5 full unused hay bags for am people in hay shed) and remove horses from grass as needed

Check waterers in Bowman barn stalls and clean as needed

Pick up/put away grooming items and all other items in Bowman barn

Clean out all stalls in the Bowman barn, removing all urine and manure, spray urine spots and leave open to air

Pick up any manure left in Grand Prix arena and on driveways (there should be NONE)

Dump wheelbarrows from Bowman barn and Grand Prix arena

Water flowers on the hill

Check and empty garbages in Bowman barn that are full or almost full and replace with new bag (by hay stall and in maintenance room)almost ful

Prep feed bags for the morning

Send a hangout chore message for any repairs that need to be made. Repair anything that you can

Let Mehgan know if we are low on anything that needs to be reordered (grain, shavings, hay, vinegar)

Report via chore hangout any changes that were made, any horses to monitor ( ex. Bennett got a superficial cut on his front right fetlock, I brought him in , cleaned it and applied triple ABX ) then send a picture

Keep detached garage doors & hay barn doors closed

Turn off all lights and fans, ensure barn doors stay closed

Check all chore chats and boarder chat before, during and after (but before leaving)
