As part of our art club sessions, we occasionally provide a variety of refreshments, including fizzy drinks such as Sprite, Fanta, or Dr Pepper. Water and alternative drinks will always be available, and children are not required to have fizzy drinks if they do not wish to. Please indicate your consent below.

Mihaila Art Workshops – Terms & ConditionsSession Options & Fees

Participants may choose from the following payment options:

• Pay-As-You-Go: £12 per session
• Monthly Membership: £48 per month (approximately £11 per session)
• 10-Week Programme: £100 total (approximately £10 per session; saving £20 compared to weekly payments)

Monthly Membership includes:
• Reserved weekly space
• £5 discount on Holiday Clubs and special workshops

10-Week Programme includes:
• Reserved weekly space for the duration of the programme
• £10 discount on Holiday Clubs and special workshops
• Structured artistic development through consistent attendance
• Priority access to special events and workshops

Attendance, Absences, Programme Rollovers & Timetable Changes

Participants are responsible for attending their booked sessions.

Missed sessions due to:

• Illness
• Family holidays
• School trips
• Extracurricular activities
• Personal commitments
• Schedule clashes

will not be refunded, credited, rescheduled, transferred, or added onto the end of a programme.

Programme extensions, credits, and rollovers apply only when:

• A session is cancelled by Mihaila Art Workshops
• The studio is closed for planned holiday breaks (including Summer, Easter, Christmas, and other advertised closures)
• A session cannot run due to insufficient attendance numbers
• Tutor illness or emergency circumstances prevent a session from taking place

In these circumstances, no session will be deducted from a participant’s programme and the missed session will be credited, rescheduled, or added onto the end of the programme.

Timetable, Venue & Programme Changes

Mihaila Art Workshops reserves the right to make reasonable changes to class days, times, venues, group structures, tutors, or timetables where necessary due to operational, staffing, venue, enrolment, safeguarding, planning, business, or scheduling requirements.

Where possible, reasonable notice will be provided.

A change to a class day, time, venue, tutor, or programme structure does not automatically entitle a participant to a refund.

Where a timetable or programme change occurs, Mihaila Art Workshops will make reasonable efforts to offer a suitable alternative class, programme, group, credit, or continuation option.

Prepaid programme fees remain non-refundable once a place has been reserved and booked.

Mihaila Art Workshops reserves the right to cancel, merge, relocate, or restructure classes where necessary for the effective operation of the studio.

Holiday Closures

The studio follows scheduled holiday breaks throughout the year.

During studio holiday closures:

• No sessions will take place
• No programme sessions will be deducted
• Programmes will be automatically extended to ensure all paid sessions are delivered

Participants do not lose sessions during advertised studio closures.

Health, Medical Information & Additional Needs

Parents/guardians (or adult participants) must disclose any relevant:

• Medical conditions
• Allergies
• Additional support needs
• Emergency contact information

Mihaila Art Workshops reserves the right to administer basic first aid and seek emergency medical assistance where necessary.

Safeguarding & CCTV

The safety and wellbeing of all participants is a priority.

The studio operates safeguarding procedures appropriate for working with children and young people.

For safeguarding, security, and insurance purposes:

• CCTV is in operation within and around the studio premises
• Recorded footage may be reviewed if required for safeguarding, health and safety, security, or incident investigation purposes
• CCTV footage will be stored and managed in accordance with UK data protection requirements

Photography & Media

Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during sessions for:

• Social media
• Website content
• Printed marketing materials
• Studio displays
• Exhibition promotion

Consent preferences are collected during registration and can be changed at any time by contacting Mihaila Art Workshops.

Parking & Drop-Off Policy

To support road safety, neighbouring properties, and local planning requirements, parents and visitors agree to follow the studio parking guidance.

Participants and visitors are asked to:

• Avoid parking directly in front of the studio property
• Use available parking further along Chestnut Avenue or on nearby roads where appropriate
• Keep driveways, junctions, and access points clear
• Drop off and collect children promptly where possible

Failure to follow parking guidance may affect the studio’s ability to continue operating from its current location.

Sibling Discount

A 10% sibling discount applies when two or more children from the same household are enrolled on a programme.

Example:

• Two children on a 10-Week Programme = £180 instead of £200

Liability

Participants attend sessions at their own risk.

Mihaila Art Workshops shall not be liable for any injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property except where caused by proven negligence.

Agreement

By enrolling in Mihaila Art Workshops, participants and/or parents/guardians confirm that they have:

• Read and understood these Terms & Conditions
• Agreed to comply with studio policies
• Provided accurate registration information
• Accepted the attendance, cancellation, safeguarding, CCTV, and parking policies outlined above
