Massachusetts Dietetics Education Foundation Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) Scholarship Application 2022

To be eligible for this award, the applicant must be a current MAND member and self-identify as a person from an underrepresented group in the field of nutrition and dietetics, such as one or more of the following: Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino/Latinx, Asian, Native American, person of color, LGBTQ+, male, person with differences in ability, or a veteran. Demographic data will not be considered in review of your application. Answering these questions is voluntary and they include an option for “Prefer not to disclose.” The supplemental qualitative questions are what impacts the review process.
If awarded a scholarship, students must provide a verification statement from their university/internship stating that they are enrolled in the program as noted in the application. This must be done prior to the scholarship disbursement.

All applications are due by May 31. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. NOTE: Applicants who apply for both the MDEF and the MDEF DEI scholarships can only be selected as a recipient of one type of scholarship.
