2015 Orientation Leader Application

New Student Orientation is a program designed to help our newest Cavaliers become familiar with our campus while gearing up for academic success. This 2-day program includes both academic and social components intended to help students transition to life at Cabrini and assist them in meeting other new and upper-class Cabrini students, as well as faculty and staff.

    Resume (must be submitted with application documents)

    It is important for students to have a resume that highlights important aspects of their college career. Please include a resume that highlights your involvement (can include both on and off-campus involvement), work history and other important information relevant to the OL position.

    Please type a response to each of the applicable questions below and submit via e-mail to orientation@cabrini.edu Please respond to the following questions: 1. Please explain why you want to be a member of the 2015 Orientation Team. 2. What special skills/attributes would you bring to the Orientation team? Please provide an example of a time that you used these skills/attributes. Please select ONE of the following essays: 1. Create your own “Top Ten Favorite Things about Cabrini” List. Please provide a brief explanation of each one item you included and why you listed them in that exact order. 2. Give a brief re-telling of your own Cabrini Orientation experience. Compare yourself today to the pre-Cabrini version of yourself. How have you changed during your time at Cabrini? How different was reality from your pre-college expectations of college life? Please include anything you have learned about yourself or life in general from experiences you have had in college. 3. Imagine a friend is writing a tribute to you – all about you: your style, interests, personality, strengths, etc. Describe some of the things you would expect to be said about you in this tribute.

    Selection Process

    As a new applicant for the Orientation Leader position, you will be required to attend one of two group interview sessions. Please choose between 3:15pm on Monday, February 2nd and 6:30pm on Thursday, February 5th for your group interview.
