Pet and Service Animal ("Animal") supervision and care will be the owner's responsibility who requested and received approval from the Director of Housing Operations for the Animal.

An Animal may be a dog (most common), cat, small bird, rabbit, hamster, gerbil, non-carnivorous fish, turtle (only those permitted by Tennessee law), or other small, domesticated animal that is traditionally kept in the home for pleasure. Under guidelines from HUD, reptiles (other than turtles), barnyard animals, monkeys, and other nondomesticated animals are not considered common household animals.

Agreeing to this policy means you understand your pet cannot be brought onto campus until you have received approval from The Director of Housing Operations via email.

I have read and agree to the LMU Pet Policy and understand that if my pet is under one years old or is brought into residential housing prior to recieving approval that diciplinary action may be taken, not limited to a conduct proceeding and/or having to remove the pet from campus.
