Our trainings are currently available in virtual, in person, or hybrid formats, with the exception of the Action-Focused Conversation (in person only).

The Race and Racism in Cincinnati Docuseries covers the following topics:
  • Founding of Cincinnati on Stolen Indigenous Land
  • Early Black Codes and Cincinnati's Involvement in Slavery
  • Cincinnati Black Brigade
  • Education 
  • Housing and Neighborhoods
  • Police Brutality
  • Gentrification

Starting October 2024, our original 3-Part series will be available as a half day event. 
  • Option 1: 3-Part Series offered in 3 sessions of 2 hours each = 6 hours total
  • Option 2: Half Day offered in 1 session of 4 hours total
We also offer a post-docuseries event, Action-Focused Conversations. Demand for this program grew after people who watched the docuseries became energized to do more. Utilizing an open space concept, our Action-Focused Conversations serve as a way to bring people together to dismantle systemic racism.

We charge a program fee to acknowledge the time, expertise, and materials it takes to organize a viewing of the docuseries. Rates are determined by format, location, and if Ignite Peace staff is needed to facilitate. If cost is a barrier we can work with you to meet your budget needs.
  1. 3-Part Series with Ignite Peace Trained Facilitator (in-person or via zoom): $750-$2000 
  2. Half-Day with Ignite Peace Trained Facilitator (in-person or via zoom): $500-$2000
  3. Action-Focused Conversation with Ignite Peace Trained Facilitator in Person: Free (donations welcome!)
  4. 3-Part Series with Self-Directed Facilitator Guidebook: $300-$1500
  5. 3-Part Series with year long access for a school: $500 with a $250 year renewal
