Growing Diversity: a reception at Ashbridge Estate
Join Building Roots to celebrate Urban Agriculture Day in Toronto with an opportunity to meet some of Toronto's food leaders in a beautiful City space you've probably never got to see. Learn how we've transformed this space into a productive urban farm, community learning hub and affordable food.

Hear about our partner's perspectives in urban growing, food justice and sovereignty. Growers on site include the Black Farmers and Growers Collective, NishDish Marketeria & Catering, Abokichi, Duke of Connaught students, Bashir Munye and Heather Allen.

Enjoy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments from our partners Chef Bashir Munye and Chef Johl Whiteduck Ringuette.

Free and open to all.
Friday, September 15, 5-7PM
