Description: As a test rater, you will evaluate speaking and/or writing responses to test questions using a rubric with specific criteria/descriptors. All work is fully remote, and raters use our online scoring system to access responses. Training materials are provided.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s or Associate degree (a degree in progress is acceptable)
• Demonstrated English language proficiency (for applicants whose first language is not English)
• A computer with internet access must be used for rating (smart phones and tablets are not compatible)
• A mobile device is needed for multi-factor authentication
• Headphones or earbuds are needed for listening to spoken responses 
• A quiet, private environment in which to work

Desired Characteristics:

• Previous experience working with English language learners
• Ability to read and apply specifications consistently and objectively
• Ability to accept and apply feedback

Details:

• Compensation is calculated based on the number of spoken or written responses rated.
• Rating is available throughout the year, and new responses are uploaded to the system multiple times per week. Rating is usually available 24/7.
• To qualify, candidates must complete self-guided training and certification.
