Hello! We're glad that you have taken interest in being a volunteer for our cause! HERstory is a youth-led, non-profit Adopt-A-School Program that has been accredited by the Philippines' Department of Education. In order to further our mission of female empowerment, HERstory launched an official chapter of PERIOD at Benigno Aquino High School. Using PERIOD’s resources, we will have one workshop devoted to sexual health per cycle, alongside a feminine hygiene product distribution.

PERIOD is a global youth-powered non-profit that strives to end period poverty and stigma through the pillars of advocacy, education, and service. Through community outreaches, educational workshops, donation drives and various other fundraisers, PERIOD has changed thousands of lives around the world.

Here are the 2 committee options:

Remote Team: Deals with creating flyers for events and preparing resources for our workshops/fundraisers (great for those who can't attend in-person lessons!)

In-person Team: Assists with teaching in-person sexual health sessions and distributing feminine hygiene products (you must live in Manila and provide your own transportation to the school!)
