''From the Mountain to the Sea'
This form is about the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange program called ''From the Mountain to the Sea''
📅The activity will take place during the dates of:  22 - 30 April 2026 (including travel days)
📍 Where?  Assel, Netherlands

In this project we highlight the variety of nature in our countries. As we combine our
strengths we will get to experience the diversity and vulnerability of European nature
first-hand, this time in the Netherlands.

Under this title, Support4youth invites you to an unforgettable adventure that will widen your
perspective of our planet. With our partner organization Don Bosco Youthnet Netherlands we
have put together an inspiring program that brings together young people from 6 European
countries (The Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Austria and Greece) to work together for a
sustainable future.

But this project is more than just beautiful landscapes... By sharing thoughts together,
having interactive workshops, doing hands-on activities and exploring together, will raise
awareness of what our impact is to the planet. We will find solutions and will discover how
small changes can have a big impact.

 Objectives
Raising awareness of our responsibility towards the environment:
● Raising awareness of the impact of human activity on the environment and
the need for sustainable lifestyles.
● Providing knowledge about ecological networks and the importance of
protecting natural resources.
● Promoting a deep understanding of the urgency of environmental protection
and the role of each individual in it.
Promoting active European citizenship:
Strengthening the sense of belonging to the European community and
understanding the importance of European values such as solidarity and
cooperation.
● Encouraging participants to see themselves as active shapers of a
sustainable Europe and to use their skills and experience for positive change.
● Promote intercultural competences and exchange best practices to foster
cooperation and understanding in a European context.
Strengthening teamwork and a sense of community:
● Through joint activities and challenges in nature, participants should learn to
work effectively as a team, promote cooperation and take responsibility for the
common good.
Building social skills and interpersonal relationships
● By sharing and living together with other young people, participants should
strengthen their communication skills, develop empathy and build valuable
friendships and international relationships.
Having a better understanding of our culture differences and similarities
● By getting to know each other, we will also share our traditions, habits and
culture. This leads to a better understanding of what our culture is and what
this means in a wider perspective.
