Cruelty Free Festival 2017 Children's Workshop Application Form
N.B. ALL volunteers for Children's workshops MUST have a current Working With Children Check. This is FREE for volunteer positions. Go to http://www.kidsguardian.nsw.gov.au/child-safe-organisations/working-with-children-check

Hello wonderful workshop facilitators,

Please complete this form to volunteer to run a children's workshop at this year's festival. Our workshop program seeks to enlighten and inspire children to make a connection with animals, and raise their awareness of cruelty free living in a fun, creative, safe learning environment. Workshops can take the form of art and craft, story telling, musical activities, as long as there is a focus on animals.

The workshops will be primarily for children 5 - 12 years, so please tailor your proposals for this age group. Younger (accompanied by parent/guardian) and older kids make take part, but this is the core demographic audience. Each workshop will be limited to a maximum of 15 children. An assistant volunteer will be provided on the day, if needed (a 10:1 ratio of children to adult is required).

Trestle tables, chairs and some art materials will be provided - please bring everything else you need. We strongly encourage the use of recycled materials.

All persons selected for this year's program will be promoted on our website with a photo and blurb, promoted via Facebook and other social media, and be listed in our official 2017 program.
