In order to be considered for the 2025-2026 McKee Media Group, students need to complete and submit the application by Saturday, August 31, 2025 by 5:00 pm. The McKee Media Group is composed of 3 different entities. Bear News Network, Bear Business (Elk Grove Citizen-Newspaper) and this year the McKee Yearbook will become part of the McKee Media Group.

LATE Applications may not be accepted. Deadlines are important in the news.

I will work as a TEAM on any task needed

I will submit at least one video to the SEVA awards competition in early February.

I will try to attend school activities.

I will treat all video equipment carefully and ask questions if I do not know how to use something.

I will be flexible and try different jobs on the McKee Media Group.

I will participate by making videos, editing, writing scripts, and being a contributing member of the team.

I will have fun and enjoy learning about digital media!

I understand that if I do not meet the requirements that I agreed to, I will be giving up my spot on the MMG Crew.
