The BHS PTO gives funds each year to support a wide range of important projects and needs at the school. Any teacher, para-professional or administrator is encouraged to fill out the application below to fund their grant idea. Grants are made for as little as a hundred dollars up to many thousands of dollars.
The BHS PTO grants are used to fund projects, activities, or the purchase of materials that promote, complement, or enhance the BHS curriculum. Grants should be consistent with the vision and needs of particular school departments, meeting the needs of students and encouraging teacher creativity and effectiveness.
Applications from individual faculty, staff members, and administrators are welcome. We also encourage department-wide or collaborative, cross-department funding requests for the benefit of multiple teachers, students, and classrooms. The deadline for submitting your online grant application to the BHS PTO is April 27, 2019. All grant applications will be reviewed and replied to June 4, 2019. If you are awarded a grant, you will be required to send a brief description of how the grant has impacted your students/classroom as well as send us photos of your event or showing your items in use in your classroom.
