SKYWARN is a National Weather Service program that consists of trained weather spotters who report significant and severe weather to the National Weather Service.  These reports enhance accuracy and timeliness of warnings, statements and forecasts.  The SKYWARN spotter provides a valuable and important service to the local community, county and state.
