COMBAT
Focus on difficult, varied boss battles

Dodging is very important, and there is no cover system, and no regenerating health
There are health packs

We're contemplating adding forcefield-shields.  Would this add to your playstyle?
The shields would only block in front of you. Taking hits would drain your stamina and push you back

We have guns, magic, and melee.  Which would you primarily use?
Rather than having lots of spells, we have a few for each element that can be used in different ways
Click to shoot, click and hold for guided projectile, click after rolling for close-range burst, etc.

At very low health, you have decreased mobility, accuracy, etc.

Mixture of solo missions and missions with party members

Levels are mostly ice caves, acid caves, frozen lakes, mountain passes (usually in blizzards), and military bases

Some levels lower your temperature unless you're in a clearly indicated "warm area" generated by a sci fi heater.  Sometimes you have to repair those heaters.

Over-the-top, character-focused story with dark humor

Current choices: righteous, witty, ruthless, or silent protagonist (if the others don't appeal to you)

Please note that this does not mean the overall plot will be affected.  We're not sure about that yet.
