Let's Talk About Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Application Form
Let’s Talk About Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) is a workshop led by Decolonising Contraception (DC) in partnership with the British Pregnancy Advisory Service and Lancaster University. DC are dedicated to creating unique events to improve the sexual & reproductive well-being of people of colour in safe, friendly spaces.
In this workshop, we will be exploring the relationship that people of colour have with long acting reversible contraception (LARCs) including the progesterone implant, Intrauterine devices and Depo-provera injections. We will use media stories, our own personal experiences and prompts to have a conversation about our experiences with contraception. The workshop will run from 1- 3pm at Peckham Palms.
It will be an opportunity to share with your peers in a comfortable environment as well as contribute to important research on how contraception is accessed. The workshop will be audio recorded only and anonymised.
