Our first hiking trip this semester will be to the Lysá hora mountain. It is the highest mountain (1324 AMSL) of the Beskydy mountain range and one of the most popular hiking places around Ostrava. There are 2 cottages on the top where you can get delicious beer, hot soup or a whole meal. 🤗 You can also look for some outstanding views from the top.

❗️For a pleasant experience, we recommend bringing hiking or outdoor sport shoes. The difficulty of the trip is medium (in total approx. 18 km horizontally and 900 m vertically).

We will gather money for transportation by train from Ostrava to the mountain and back during the trip (no need to pay in the ESN office before this event). We are not responsible for your valid ticket on the public transport within Ostrava.

Meeting point: at 7:40 Ostrava-Svinov train station (on a square between the train station building and the bus stations)

🧡What with you: Outdoor sports shoes, student card (ISIC), snacks, and water for a whole day

🧡Fee: approx. 90 CZK (under 26 years and with ISIC card) or 180 CZK (without ISIC card) for train tickets
