Private Study for Credit- Subsidy Request Form      MUSIC 208, MUSIC 209 and MUSIC 210
Instructions: Each semester this form must be submitted by all students enrolled in instrumental, vocal or keyboard private study who wish to be considered for a private lesson subsidy.  By clicking the "submit " icon below, your form will be sent to Amy Rouse, Faculty Administrative Assistant, Music Department.  
 
All forms for Spring 2024 must be submitted by Friday, February 2 at 5:00 pm.

Please note: In order to receive credit for private study and be eligible to apply for a subsidy, you must register separately with the Registrar's Office for  Private Study course MUSCH208, MUSCH209 or MUSCH210.

In order to qualify for academic credit and be eligible for subsidy in MUSIC 208 or MUSIC 209, students must be active in one of the departmental ensembles (Chamber Singers, Chorale, Orchestra or Chamber Music)  in addition to taking a minimum of 10 lessons a semester and performing for a departmental jury at the end of the semester. MUSIC 210 students are not required to participate in an ensemble, but are encouraged to do so. MUSIC 210 students must take a minimum of 10 lessons a semester and perform a departmental jury at the end of the semester.
