Art supplies, decorations
Non-breastfeeding related giveaway items
Certifications, Continuing Education, or lactation training fees
Educational scholarships for other breastfeeding conferences
All applicants will be reviewed and provided with acceptance or denial within 2-4 weeks of submission.
To be considered, projects must be not-for-profit. IBC has the right to decline scholarship applications that do not follow the guidelines previously stated. If another funding source would be more appropriate for a project IBC may provide this information.
IBC projects scholarships are available for up to $200. Organizations/Individuals will be limited to 1 project scholarship award per year. IBC reserves the right to make an exception to funding provided to applicants.
If a project receives an acceptance response, we ask that those applying for materials, please keep all receipts. With approval, IBC will provide 50% of your requested funds initially for the project. Upon completion of your project, IBC will collect receipts and disperse the remaining balance of your scholarship.
All approved applicants are also required to present their project at an IBC meeting, or provide a summary in an upcoming newsletter to inspire and educate other coalition members to do the same.
