Thank you for your interest in keeping our shores and waterways clean and healthy!
The final step to enroll is to print and sign the Adopt-A-Beach Agreement Form and the Coastal Cleanup Liability Form. The liability form must be completed by all cleanup participants. You will also need the Coastal Cleanup Data Card Form for the cleanup, for a total of 3 forms. All forms can be found on the NEC website, at or at the NEC office in Arcata. All forms must be returned to our office at 415 I St. in Arcata or mailed to PO Box 4259 Arcata, CA 95518.

Participants must report their estimated waste weighted totals quarterly, on the dates of March 30, June 30, September 30, and December 30. Adopt-A-Beach groups may be featured (with permission) on the NEC website and in our bi-monthly newspaper, EcoNews. Groups participating in upwards of three cleanups per year are also recognized by the California Coastal Commission.
