Nantucket phylogeny developeR workshop
Please use the following form to apply as a participant in the Nantucket phylogeny developeR workshop to be held November 5-8, 2019, at the field station of the University of Massachusetts Boston in Nantucket, Massachusetts (USA). We are primarily seeking evolutionary biologists with some prior experience in computer programming and who
have an interest in participating more fully in the community of method developers for the R statistical computing environment in phylogenetics.
This workshop is funded in part by a grant from the National Science Foundation (DEB‐1350474 and DBI‐1759940). The deadline for applying is September 10th, 2019.

What skills and knowledge do you bring to the workshop? *
Please give us your own account of what qualifies you to participate in this event. Skills and knowledge that we are looking for include, but are not limited to, R programming or programming skills in other languages, as well as how phylogenetic analyses fit into your research experience and interests. Please include references to relevant work of yours (e.g., source code repositories, tools, data, publications, research interests). If you feel that the best support for your qualifications is by a third party such as a supervisor or mentor, please indicate this and provide contact information. Extensive prior programming experience is not required to participate in this workshop.
