Pasifika Play Date is a workshop facilitated by Kiki Rivera hosted by TeAda Productions. Join us for a play date! We invite Pasifika community members to come have fun, play, and explore their inner theater person. Arrive as a community member and leave as a storyteller as we connect theater games, storytelling practices, and activate our bodies and voices. Leave behind your inner critic and allow your creative self to take the lead.

This is a low stakes, high reward experience with a 20-person capacity.

Following this workshop, participants are encouraged to apply to the Pasifika Artists’ Exchange Ensemble taking place on June 13-20. This eight-day residency is a paid opportunity with a culminating performance on June 20 at the Wende Museum at 4p.

Just Play workshop is facilitated by Misa Tupou and Kathy Martin hosted by TeAda Productions. Join our lead artists in guiding an interactive experience with games, physical movements, and the power of words & storytelling. Pae in ōlelo Hawai’i means to land ashore or to cluster or group. Gather with us in a time when Pasifika arts and play are most needed.

Come as you are. Bring a bottle of water, comfortable clothes to move in, and your whole self (creativity included)!

​PIEAM is fundamentally led by Indigenous principals, particularly the CHamoru principle of inafa'maolek (making good, restoring harmony) which entails a reciprocal culture of respect, collaboration, and solidarity.

Free parking available across the street from the museum at 638 Alamitos Ave, next to 644 Alamitos Ave. The parking lot can be distinguished by a mural of a woman with an alligator. You may also park at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) 628 Alamitos Ave.
