We are pleased to announce these scholarship opportunities to aid in your attending the 2018 NOFA Summer Conference!
1. Farming Educational Funds Scholarship: $80 off registration fees, in exchange for 4 hours of work for adults. Available on a rolling basis until funding is depleted.
2. Work Exchange Program: A commitment of 20 hours working closely with staff members from Thursday - Sunday, in exchange for FREE conference registration, 3 days housing in a single dorm room, Thursday night Staff dinner, a volunteer t-shirt, and a $50 stipend. Deadline to apply for these positions is July 1, 2018 Limited to 20 positions, so apply early!
3. Beginner Farmer/ Inclusion Scholarship Funds: 50% off registration fees, with no work requirement. Available on a rolling basis until funding is depleted. Reserved for Beginner Farmers (those farming <10 years), low income individuals, individuals of color.
4. Free Registration for Farm Workers We have a special opportunity this year, provided by a NOFA VT grant funded by Meadows Bee Farm in Windham, VT. If you or someone you know is a farm worker or apprentice they can receive free* registration for Summer Conference. Funding is limited and will last until depleted.
