2019 MYL Foundation MassSTAR 3-Day Conference Senior Staff Application

The MassSTAR 3-Day Citizenship Conference is 100% volunteer staffed and is sponsored by the Massachusetts Youth Leadership Foundation (MYL Foundation). We rely on the enthusiasm and dedication of our outstanding volunteers to make this weekend possible - and we are happy that you are interested in providing it for the 2019 MassSTAR Conference!

APPLICATION DEADLINE - The deadline to submit a staff application is April 5th at 11:59:59 PM. Applications submitted after this deadline may not be considered.

AGE – You must be 21 years of age or older to serve in a Senior Staff role at MassSTAR. Junior Staff applications can be found on the website.

Expectations of Senior Staff

- Attendance at Staff Training on April 27th, 2019 from 12pm-5pm.

- Being on-site at Lasell College for the 2019 Conference from 5pm on Thursday, May 30th 2019 through 7pm Sunday, June 2nd 2019.

- Senior Staff is also expected to stay in communication with the Directors of Senior and Junior Staff, other members of 2019 Conference Planning Committee as well as members of Junior Staff.

- Any conflicts with this timing must be communicated to the Senior Staff Director with as much notice as possible.

BEING A ROLE MODEL - Serving on Senior Staff for MassSTAR means serving as a role model for all student delegates and junior staff that participate in the 2019 conference. Accordingly, staff is expected to maintain professional behavior and appearance (in person and online) in all interactions with MassSTAR delegates, staff, and volunteers before, during, and following the 2019 MassSTAR Conference.
