Transition to Adulthood Community of Practice Registration

Help a young person plan their transition to adulthood after high school graduation by joining this Community of Practice; designed and lead by you, facilitated and supported by MAIER & UMaine.

Who: Transition-focused teachers and professional service providers

What: We will learn about best practices in transition for local and national experts, share effective strategies and resources, collaborate to overcome shared challenges, develop collective goals, and achieve desired outcomes!

When/Where: Four, 1 ½ hour-long, online meetings in late fall; specific time and dates determined by the group.

Why: Transition is a critical focus for schools in Maine to support students in achieving positive post-school outcomes (SPP Indicator 14) through effective transition planning and services (Indicator 13).
