Language & Literacy Practices in the Out-of-School Time
Dear Colleagues,

This form is a way to collect and share interesting and innovative practices in language and literacy in the out-of-school time.  The information you provide will be used to design a series of webinars by the National Afterschool Association and offered for free on the new RBF funded Out-of-School Time Hub which is linked to the newspaper Youth Today.

We are looking for ways that you have engaged children and youth in reading, writing, English language acquisition and academic and language development, particularly in fun, non-school-like ways that are culturally appropriate as well as appropriate for the afterschool and summer contexts.

If your ideas and/or lessons are used on the Hub, you and your agency's work will be fully acknowledged.  In addition, you may be asked to participate in a Google hangout as an afterschool expert.  This google hangout will be recorded and uploaded onto a Youtube channel for viewing by the larger community.

Thanks so much in advance for your help!
