Renee Sonnenberg is a four-time Olympic coach and ten-time World
Championship coach in elite curling, known for guiding athletes to success on
the world stage. She also serves as Analytics Lead for Curling Canada, where
she blends coaching expertise with data-driven performance strategies.
A resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, Renee will present Performance,
Pressure and Pride – My Olympic Coaching Journey, sharing insights from her
Olympic experiences, her perspective on the evolving role of a coach, and how
data, analytics, and video can enhance impact in high-performance sport.
Drawing from her own journey—starting with basic analytics and growing into
advanced performance insights—Renee aims to leave audiences inspired with
practical ideas they can apply within their own sport.
