About the Role: We are recruiting 30 Cultural Champions (Aged 18-25) from Sligo and Derry/Londonderry. Selected Champions will receive a subsistence stipend, have all accommodation costs covered for residential camps, and gain expert training in the arts and leadership.

The Project Lighthouse residentials will take place on the following dates:
Derry-Londonderry: Monday 27th July - Fri 7th August 2026
Sligo: Monday 31st August - Thursday 10th September 2026

The project will culminate in a public showcase, to mark the International Day of Peace in September 2026.

Intensive rehearsals and the final performance will take place in mid-September. Specific dates and a full schedule will be provided to successful applicants well in advance.


NOTE: Accommodation will be provided at the residentials, and each participant will receive a stipend of 40 euros per day attended to cover basic living costs such as food. 

NOTE 2: It is important that participants can commit to attending the residential, and attendance for the rehearsal & performance dates are essential. (There may be room for negotiation if you need to miss one or two of the residential days).
