The LRES PTA is proud to announce the reopening of the LRES Book Club! Our school is currently accepting 4th and 5th grade applicants for the 2024-2025 school year. The program is intended to encourage students to deepen their love of reading. Participants will read the assigned book from a list spanning a variety of genres and meet to discuss the books. The LRES Book Club meetings for 2024 will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20 and Wednesday, Dec. 18. Please submit form by Monday, October 21st.

I have reviewed and give permission for my child to read the selected books. A synopsis for each title is posted on our PTA Website. Books have been chosen by a team of teachers and librarians. I understand that all books used for this club are property of LRES and must be returned to the Book Club in reasonable condition, or I will be responsible for providing a replacement copy. I also understand that I am responsible for transportation of my child to and from all LRES Book Club events.
