Have you ever considered delving into the captivating world of engineering and exploring the exciting fields it has to offer? Are you interested in learning more about the Engineering Academy at Dublin High School or thinking about starting engineering-related clubs at Emerald High School?
Here at NextGen Innovators, we aim to provide students with the opportunity to explore the hands-on side of engineering as well as provide insight into our experiences being third-year students in the Engineering Academy at Dublin High School. This program will focus on many areas of engineering including civil, mechanical, electrical, and computer science, and will teach students engineering concepts as we build our projects together.
Join us as we share about the Engineering Academy program at DHS and the different paths you can take including Computer Science. We will share our experiences and things we wish we knew ahead of time so you can prepare while in middle school. We will also talk about our experiences in engineering clubs that are provided at the high school including Dublin Robotics.
Here are three of our goals!
- Allow students to have the opportunity to explore the field of engineering before joining the classes at the high school level with hands-on learning
- Expand the students knowledge on a variety of engineering fields and what engineering actually is
- Get students excited to continue engineering into high school
If you are interested in joining our program please fill out our form by February 2. Enrolled students will receive a confirmational email.
The material cost to join is $15. We will notify when to pay in the confirmation email.
Club Meetings will be every other Friday starting February 16 from 3:30 - 4:30 at Fallon Middle School in the Library. Dates for meetings will be: 2/16, 2/23, 3/8, 3/22, 4/12, 4/19, 5/3.
