Dear Parent/Guardian,
Classical Academy High School and Coastal Academy High School are both partnering with the California State University (CSU) to help students access college opportunities through a Direct Admissions program.
As part of this program, we may share limited student information with CSU to:
• Determine CSU admission eligibility,
• Notify students of admission opportunities, and
• Provide information about enrollment, financial aid, and support services.
Information that may be shared includes: student name, contact information, date of
birth, student ID (SSID), school information, and basic demographic and eligibility data.
Parent/guardian contact information may also be included.
Why this is allowed: Federal law (FERPA) permits schools to share this information with
CSU for college enrollment purposes without prior consent if parents/students are
provided an ability to opt out of sharing this information in the school's annual notice.
Your choice:
You may opt out of this program. If you choose to opt out, we will not share your data with CSU. If you do not want your student’s information shared, please complete this form by August 31.
