Making macaron can be a challenge to a lot of people and achieving consistent results may sometimes be daunting.
Not to worry as this workshop is highly recommended for beginners who are interested in creative macaron baking.

We are happy to announce an upcoming special Christmas edition workshop in collaboration with renowned creative macaron author , Chef Tan Phay Shing!

About the author and guest instructor :
Chef Tan has released 2 macaron books: Creative Baking Macarons & Macaron Basics in which the former was deemed the best seller in its category and the latter is newly released in the market. Being a SAHM who’s super creative with her edible artworks, Chef Tan is full of ideas and plays with designs on very basic products like macaron, choux pastries, cookies, chiffons, breads and all.

About the Workshop:
In this workshop, students will learn to make Christmas Lollipop macarons from scratch.
It's one of the entries in her latest Macaron Basics book.
It may look simple but so far all the swirl macarons you see in the market doesn't have this type of pattern.
The is a demo and hands-on baking session which includes Q&A on frequently asked questions on macarons.

What you will learn:
1. Basics of French method of making macarons
2. How to split single batch of batter into three different colours
3. How to pipe the swirls
4. How to make peppermint dark and white chocolate filling
5. How to properly assemble the end product
