GTNeuro Exec Board 2013 Application
Hello and thank you for your interest in GTNeuro. GTNeuro strives to bring awareness to the field of neuroscience around Georgia Tech and Atlanta through education, outreach, and career opportunities.

Below you will find the 2013 executive board positions. Please review the officer requirements and fill out the application. Applicants can apply for multiple positions simply by answering each questions for each position you intend to apply for. (ie if you are applying for treasurer and speaker chair, please answer questions one in with two paragraphs. The first one for the treasurer position and the second paragraph for the speaker chair positions. Students can be appointed to one position. All applications are due through this document by Saturday March 23rd at 11:59 PM. You will receive email confirmation within 24 hours to confirm that your application has been received. At that time, you will sign up for an interview time for the week of March 25th and final decisions will be sent no later than April 1st.

2013 Executive Board Requirements:
-Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the Atlanta campus of Georgia Tech for Spring 2013 and Fall 2013.
-Must be available for weekly meetings (Monday evenings, typically around 7:00 or 7:30 PM)
-Ability to work in a leadership role and network with community leaders

Available Executive Board Positions:

Treasurer: The treasurer is responsible for all finances of the club. The treasurer also maintains the membership roster of the club. Aside from being responsible for collecting dues from all GTNeuro members, the treasurer must implement new strategies to bring in funding for GTNeuro by connecting with individuals inside and outside of Georgia Tech.

Industry Chair: The industry chair will be a liaison between GTNeuro and major neuroscience industries in Atlanta. The goal of the industry chair to grow these connections and also gather input from different companies and organizations on how to better promote neuroscience at Georgia Tech via the minor or other GTNeuro projects.

Speaker Chair: The speaker chair is responsible for attracting speakers how are invested in the field of neuroscience for GTNeuro's highly successful speaker series. The speaker chair is the main contact between the club and the speaker and will coordinate the event to ensure proper flow and structure during the talk.
