Extra needs for your child. If you are a Child Sponsor: very occasionally a need will arise for your child and we may contact you to ask if you can consider helping to meet this need. For example, Christmas gifts, Easter, Birthdays or help with an unexpected medical bill. If you are able to help you will be asked to send a donation to meet the need. It is useful to know whether we are able to contact you on these occasions.

SPONSORSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

-Children of the light will choose a child for you to sponsor from the waiting list.
-All funds are channeled through Pastor Todd Greiner who will then wire to Uganda. A donation receipt will be sent to you if you pay for annual cost. Monthly sponsors will also be issued with a donation receipt at the end of every two quarters of the year
-COTLMU will notify you in advance when it is time to renew your sponsorship, unless you choose a recurring payment option.
-If COTLMU does not receive your renewal payment, you will receive a notification email informing you that your account is overdue. A two months grace period will be provided, after which sponsorship will be considered terminated and the sponsored child re-turned to unsponsored status. At this point the child will be listed on waiting list so they may receive a new sponsor. You are welcome to sponsor again at any time, but COTLMU cannot guarantee that the original child will be available to sponsor.
-We encourage sponsors to support the same child throughout the course of their education for as long as they are able. This allows children to continue their education uninterrupted and facilitates a relationship between the sponsor and the sponsored children. To ensure uninterrupted services to your sponsored child, a minimum sponsorship commitment of 12 months is required. Sponsorship cannot be terminated before this date.
-COTLMU however reserves the right to change your sponsored child at any time if conditions require so.
-If at any point you decide to discontinue your sponsorship, at least 3 months advance notice is required. Contact Levi by email levi@childofthelight.org or otherwise to provide advance notice.
-You are free to communicate to the sponsored child as much as you may wish provided this does not interrupt their learning at school. A letter or email every 3 months is recommended.
-If you wish to visit your sponsored child or vice versa, you may notify us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements for a successful and mutually beneficial visit. contact clgmlevis@gmail.com or +256789 417257 or levi@childofthelight.org
