2. Registration Dues are $60 per Primary Member and $30 per Secondary Member. Each member will be required to pay dues annually via their first game check. A Secondary Member who is assigned and works more than half (5) of the LRFOA Season shall be
considered as a “Primary Member” and will be charged $60 dues.

3. A Member must be registered with the FHSAA before that member can be assigned games. Any Administration Fees such as dues or fees required by the FHSAA and LRFOA that have not been reconciled from the previous season will deem any member ineligible to be assigned any games until they
have been cleared.

4. In order for any Member to be eligible to have their name be put on the an LRFOA Voting Ballot shall have 5 consecutive years as a member of LRFOA.

5. Any new member who has 1-3 years experience as a High School Football Official is mandated to attend the 5 scheduled pre-season classroom trainings and all pre-season scrimmages (3) before they are deemed eligible to be assigned games.

6. When any member is assigned a game that member shall not bring anyone including family and friends into the locker room or  clock operator area for a contest, no one but the assigned member, a trainee, or any Board Member from LRFOA shall be in those areas. Family members are allowed to attend the contest as a spectator and may sit in the stands. Special Note: (School Personnel are excluded from this Policy as they will handle their own personnel accordingly).

7. The Dress Code shall be prescribed by the FHSAA for contests sanctioned by the FHSAA and per Board direction for all other contests. All crew members will wear identical uniforms as defined by the Crew Chief (Referee) and must be consistent with the guidelines stipulated by the LRFOA’s Uniform requirements.

8. Once assignments are made, the Crew Chief (Referee) is responsible for Communicating with crew members about the plans (uniform, arrival time, etc.) for a particular contest. Crew Members must acknowledge the communication from the Crew Chief no less than 24 hours before the
scheduled contest.

9. If a Crew member has not received any communication from the Crew Chief 48 hours before the scheduled contest, the crew member is responsible for contacting the Referee. If the crew member has not received a response by 9:00 pm on the day before of the game, the crew member is responsible for contacting the Booking Commissioner.

10. Definitions:
a. Late/No Show Policy – Late is defined as arriving or checking in with Game Management less than 30 Minutes prior to kickoff of Middle School/Junior Varsity games or 60 minutes prior to kickoff of varsity
contests. A fine of $15 will be deducted from the officials pay. 
b. Late Show – is defined as not arriving or checking in with game management after the kickoff. If you arrive after the opening kickoff and work the game, you will “Not” be paid for the game and you will not be
fined. The Referee is responsible for reporting any violations, including their own. The Referee has the authority to dismiss any Crew Member in reference to these circumstances. If the board is informed from the state, county, or school of any crew member that was late or was a late show and it was not reported by the Referee he/she will be fined $15.

c. Turn-back – defined as “not accepting” a published assignment and declining the game - $15 fine.
d. Bang-Out – defined as “after you accept” a published assignment and you turn-back the game - $25 fine
e. Late – You are reported late for your scheduled contest - $15 Per Occurrence.
f. No-Show – defined as not showing up for your scheduled contest 

First Occurrence - Game Fee
Second Occurrence - Game Fee and suspension for one game
Third Occurrence - Suspension for the remainder of the season 

11. Appeals for LATE/NO SHOW/RE-BOOKING FEES shall be directed to the grievance committee and the Board consistent with Article XIV of the Constitution/By-laws.

12. Each LRFOA MEMBER is expected to abide by the Rules of Conduct as stipulated in Section 106 of the FHSAA Officials Guidebook (current edition). Conduct deemed unbecoming of an LRFOA member will be
reviewed by the LRFOA Board consistent with Articles XIII an XIV of the LRFOA Constitution and FHSAA’s Code of Conduct Policies.

13. The LRFOA Board will determine penalties on a case-by-case basis considering the situation severity, and circumstances of the violation. The accused member(s) will be notified of any penalties in writing.

14. It is mandated that all LRFOA Crew Chiefs contact the school administration at least 48 hours prior to the start of the contest. 

15. All Grievances must be presented to the Grievance Committee Liaison
utilizing the proper Grievance Form which is on the LRFOA Web Site or
obtained from the Grievance Liaison.
