Route 66 Relay Race — Interest Form
The Route 66 Relay Race is the inaugural annual point-to-point running relay from Oklahoma City to Tulsa, tracing the original alignment of historic U.S. Route 66 — the longest continuous original stretch of the Mother Road in America. Launching December 2026, the centennial year of Route 66.
Teams of 8–10 runners cover ~100 miles overnight, starting in OKC and finishing in Tulsa
This is a race AND a hands-on history adventure. Race weekend includes:
• Touring the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum
• Meet-ups at iconic local restaurants in both cities
• Touring Greenwood Rising in Tulsa to learn the story of Black Wall Street
• Stops at Route 66 landmarks along the route: the Round Barn in Arcadia, POPS 66, the Rock Café in Stroud, the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum in Sapulpa, and more
Our event website launches at the end of this month. In the meantime, this form helps us understand who would like to be involved — and how.
✱ Please respond before JUNE 12th, 2026 to help us lock the race weekend date. ✱
