    PLEASE READ for information regarding campaigning in the halls- You may begin campaigning only after you have met with and have been approved by your Hall Director!

    **** The following MUST be included on ALL flyers and campaign materials: -your name, -which position(s) you're running for, -traits and characteristics that make you a good fit for the position, -and any relevant previous experience you've had  Campaigning begins on Saturday, August 31st at Noon and ends at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3rd (Election Night).  It is understood that proper behavior is required in order to appropriately run for a position on Community Activities Board. There will be no acts of slander or other unkind remarks against individuals running for positions.  You may post flyers only in the designated election areas. Either scotch or clear packing tape may be used. (Masking or duct tape is prohibited).  You may not post flyers on exterior doors, on residents’ doors, glass doors, or place flyers under residents’ doors.  You may go door-to-door to talk with residents. Your Hall Director will have times when this will be allowed. It is understood that if a resident does not want to speak with you, accept it and move on. Do not make promises that you will not be able to keep.  On Election Night, you may not campaign nor may anyone else campaign on your behalf. This includes handing out flyers, asking people to vote for you, etc.  You are on the honor system with campaigning. If any violations occur, your candidacy may be revoked and/or you may face disciplinary proceedings.  The Hall Director, in consultation with the respective Area Director, will make all final decisions with regard to the Community Activities Board election processes and campaigning guidelines.
