1. ELIGIBILITY: Individual who began or finished his/her athletic accomplishments in Athens-Clarke County

2. CATEGORIES:
          A) Outstanding Athlete
          B) Outstanding Coach
          C) Contributor (one whose work contributed in a notable way to the success of athletics in Athens/Clarke County

3. SPORTS: All Team & Individual sports (interscholastic, intercollegiate, professional, Olympic, AAU, etc.)

4. REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTIONS:
          A) An athlete must have achieved extraordinary honors (All-American, All-Sections, All-State, All City/County, National, Sectional, or State Champion or Record Holder in Individual Sports
          B) A coach must have compiled an extraordinary record in producing championship teams or individual champions.
          C) A contributor must have greatly helped athletics in Athens/Clarke County over a period of time.

5. Nominee can be from any era, 1880's through World War II (1945 - 1960's) to the present.

6. CHARACTER / CRIMINAL HISTORY: Will be considered in the final selection.

Anyone may nominate an individual provided the nomination is submitted via this Google Form, and is accompanied by a complete biography, photograph, and a brief essay stating why the nominee should be considered for induction into the Athens Athletic Hall of Fame.

Any nominee charged with a felony arrest must provide their criminal history with the inductee application.

No nomination will be considered unless the Compliance Officer receives all required materials prior to the stated deadline.

The deadline for nominations for the Class of 2023 is December 1, 2022.
