Weigh-in: 7:00 - 9:00 AM
Registration Deadline: Friday, August 4th

Check-in and weigh-in will take place from 7:00 - 9:00. Livestock show will begin at 10:00 with showmanship, followed by market classes and breeding classes. Species order Swine, Lamb, Goat, Dairy & Beef Cattle.

Please note: If an exhibitor has multiple animals of the same species, we cannot guarantee that they will be in separate classes. Should an exhibitor have multiple animals in the same class, they may need to make arrangements with another exhibitor to show that animal in their place.

Intermediate Showmanship 13-15 years (age as of September 30, 2023)

Novice Showmanship 1st year showing cattle, 9 - 12 years old (age as of September 30, 2023)

Cloverbud Showmanship 5-8 years old (as of 9/30/2023)

Rules

1. All cattle must be clean and dry. Fitting is left to the discretion of the exhibitor.
2. Dairy steers will show in the in the dairy beef class of the beef show.
3. Cattle must remain on exhibit until release time. If animal is removed from exhibit area prior to release, all premiums will be forfeited.
4. Exhibitors must show their own animal in showmanship. The animal must be entered in the dairy show.
5. Entry fees of $10.00/hd should be mailed to Botetourt County Fair Inc, 1465 Lakeridge Circle, Troutville VA 24175 by August 4, 2023.

6. Ownership deadline of 5/1/23 applies.

7. Animals must have identification tag and/or Scrapie Tag (goats and lambs) at check in
