I further certify that, to the extent possible, I will resolve any identified conflicts in favor of my clinic client, i.e., I will choose to conduct the case work in the clinic as opposed to choosing to conduct work for another entity due to this identified conflict.
By signing below, you acknowledge that it is your ongoing obligation to inform your professor if you work for, intern with or extern with a government entity during the time you serve as a clinical law student.
I also understand that faculty supervisors in the Clinic cannot and do not give permission for me to skip other classes in which I am enrolled. I understand that I am to coordinate my various obligations so that they are least likely to conflict with one another. I also understand that my responsibilities to my clients are of paramount importance, and that outside employment or internship schedules may have to bend to accommodate the requirements of the Clinic. I make this Certification regarding outside work with full understanding that employment of more than 20 hours per week outside of the Clinic may jeopardize my ability to render the highest quality of service to my clients and on my case matters. I further understand that to render anything less than the highest quality of service to my clients or cases is a breach of my duty of professional responsibility and of the policy of the Clinical Law Center. I make this certification about my work limitations and my professional responsibilities freely and without any intent to mislead or to deceive.
