Human Rights Platform - Complaint Notification Form
The Human Rights Platform Project is funded by the European Union under the EU Aid Program for the Turkish Cypriot community and implemented by the Human Rights Platform.The Human Rights Platform fights for an egalitarian, just, democratic and inclusive world where universal human rights and freedoms are accessible and guaranteed for all, protected by effective mechanisms and continuously improved.

Please read the following information carefully before filling in the Complaint Notification Form.

This form is a complaint notification form regarding human rights violations in the northern part of Cyprus. The complaint form is divided into several sections and takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete. The form is also available in  Turkish.

Anonymous complaints are accepted, but if you wish to take the matter further or seek support, you or the alleged victim should contact us at the Human Rights Platform hotline +90 542 862 00 60 between 10.00 - 18.00 on weekdays.

Data Privacy and Disclaimer: In relation to your personal information collected within the scope of our project, confidentiality will be respected in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR") and relevant local legal texts. By completing this form, you acknowledge and agree to the following data privacy principles:

Data Collection: We only collect personal information necessary to facilitate your notification and effectively deliver our services. This may include your name, contact details and details about the human rights violation you are notifying. The data collected will be utilised for the Human Rights Violations Reports that Human Rights Platform monitors and reports on a regular basis.

Secure Storage:
We are committed to protecting your data from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your information is stored on secure servers with limited access.

Data Usage: Your personal information will only be used for the purpose of handling your complaint and providing assistance. Except where required by legal text, we will not share your data with any third party without your express authorisation.

Confidentiality: Our team is committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all notified cases, unless disclosure of information is required by legal text.

Retention Period: We will retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected or as required by legal text, and in any event not exceeding 2 years.

Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw your consent to the continued processing of the personal data you have provided to us at any time by contacting us at the e-mail address provided at the end of this section.
