The Idaho Office for Refugees (IOR) creates opportunities for refugees resettled in Idaho and to share cultural, educational, and social experiences with other Idaho communities. We support resettlement agencies as well as English Language education, cultural events, and programs like Global Gardens, Global Talent, and the Refugee Speakers Bureau.
These internships are normally unpaid, but students may opt to receive up to 3 credits of academic credit. Additionally, students whose majors are within the Departments of Anthropology, Biological Sciences, History, Linguistics, Psychology, Sociology or World Languages are eligible to receive a $2,375 stipend applied to their student accounts in three installments at the end of weeks 4, 9, and 15 of the semester.
