Tekko Spooky Spooktacular Cosplay Contest Rules And Sign Up
We are pleased to present the Spooky Spectacular stage walk and costume contest! Register online now until October 17 with this Google form, or in person until 8:00 at the photo booth area! All costumes are welcome to participate in our stage walk, but only costumes that were handmade, gathered (found item/‘closet cosplay’) or otherwise modified by the wearer may compete for our two prizes: Best Crafted and Most Creative.

For the Best Crafted award, our judges are looking for mostly or completely handmade outfits. For Most Creative, our judges are looking for the best use of materials, creative repurposing or thrifting, and overall creativity in forming the outfit. Registration will close and short interviews with our judges will begin at 8 in the photo booth area. Judges will ask you about your costume as well as look at it up close! If you are only doing the stage walk, you do not need to prepare for this portion–just check in with our staff and show up at the photobooth area at 8:50! All stage walk participants should meet back at the photobooth area at 8:50 where you’ll be given an index card to hand to the emcee. After everyone has crossed the stage, winners will be announced and karaoke will kick off!
