ADA Curb Ramp Request System
Welcome to the City of Boston's Curb Ramp Request System. The City is committed to providing accessible rights-of-way for all. Curb ramps are a critical element in allowing people with disabilities to have full and complete access to the public right of way. Title II of the ADA requires an accessible public right of way including access to city and government facilities and programs, public transportation, places of employment, schools, medical facilities, and places of commerce.

The City is undergoing big changes when it comes to accessibility. Over the next 10 years, the City is trying to make every curb ramp in the public right of way accessible. To help supplement this work, the ADA Curb Ramp Request System will help the City prioritize ramps that have an impact on your daily life.

Once a curb ramp request has been received, within 10 days the City will provide you with an ID Number to track your request. Within 30 days, a member of the ADA Team will investigate each request and reach out to you with an estimated schedule of repair.

The City will use its best efforts to remediate each request within one year of submission.

Location of Curb Ramp Request. Please be as detailed as possible. For example, please list the street the curb ramp is on (or needs to be located on). If the area in question is an intersection, please list the nearest cross street. If the section in question is part of a mid-block crossing with no cross street, please indicate that. If there is a store front or other street address near the curb ramp, please share that. Any information that can help us to easily identify which specific ramp (or section) needs attention is appreciated.
