"Talking with Kids About Hard Things" +  Feb. 8, 11:15-12:45 + Parent Education Event with Immanuel Presbyterian Church and Forward Healing Therapy
Parenting today means navigating conversations no parent plans for - violence in the world, scary headlines, painful questions and reactions from your kids.

Meet Meagan Laskowski, a child therapist at Forward Healing Therapy specializing in parenting, infant & child mental health, trauma, and neurodiversity. Meagan brings a relational, attachment-focused approach to helping families navigate emotional complexity and build resilience.

What you will learn:
  • Identify stress symptoms in children
  • Identify what children really need when scary or confusing things happen
  • Understand how to talk with kids about difficult topics
  • Feel more confident in developmentally appropriate responses
  • Ask questions about parenting in a safe, supportive space
All are welcome for this free event! Lunch and childcare are provided.
