Advancing Afterschool Awards 2018
Prime Time Palm Beach County is seeking nominees for our Advancing Afterschool Awards 2018, honoring exemplary individuals for their work in the field of afterschool. Recipients will be recognized for their commitment to quality standards, dedication to the children and contributions to the afterschool field at the Advancing Afterschool Awards on Thursday, May 17, 2018. Prime Time Palm Beach County fosters professionalism and excellence in the field of afterschool and encourages you to participate in the Advancing Afterschool Awards 2018 nomination process using the following form. It's a wonderful way to recognize the outstanding achievements of your fellow colleagues in the field!

Deadline to submit your nomination is March 31, 2018

Caring Adult in Afterschool
An out-of-school time (OST) practitioner who provides support, care and guidance to youth; one who creates an environment where youth develop positive social and emotional skills needed to manage their emotions and establish positive and rewarding relationships with others

Afterschool Champion
A community volunteer not employed by an afterschool program, but who provides support and services; community service organizations, such as, but not limited to, Kiwanis, Rotary and faith-based entities , as well municipal entities including law enforcement, fire-rescue and local government

Exemplary Achievement by an Afterschool Frontline Staff Member
A frontline staff member, i.e., instructor, group leader, activity leader, assistant or aide of an afterschool program, who demonstrates extraordinary dedication to positive youth development

Exceptional Achievement by an Afterschool Director
An afterschool director or any individual who supervises/oversees school-age programming and frontline staff, and who excels in fostering high quality within his/her program

Extraordinary Achievement by an Expanded Learning Opportunity (ELO) Instructor/Artist
An ELO instructor who excels in providing high quality, challenging learning experiences in the areas of academics; health and wellness; arts and creativity; or positive youth development

Inspiring Leadership by a Middle School Youth
A middle school youth (age 11-15) who attends an afterschool program and demonstrates outstanding leadership qualities. These qualities could include, but are not limited to, mentoring peers, motivating others and serving the community. He/she consistently strives to achieve personal visions and goals.
