Public Service in a Snapshot
Under the patronage of the United Nations Information Centre in Beirut (UNIC-Beirut) , ACT – Active Communities for Tomorrow organization and SMART Center for Media and Advocacy invite you to share your perception of our Communities in honor of the Public Service Day, and the UN 70th Anniversary by organizing a photography competition entitled: “Public Service in a Snapshot”.

Belonging to the various communities in Lebanon, you see the positive actions and community’s work based on the effort and work done by the United Nations, and based on a random act of kindness; a “good deed”  by individuals.  In portraying these two themes photographically, you will snap a moment that represents active voluntary participation in Lebanon through your vision. We invite you to join a unique movement and submit photographs that relate to these two themes.

“Public Service in a Snapshot” is a photography competition for amateurs and professionals alike and open to all. Selected work will be exhibited during a celebration to announce the 12 winners that will take place on August 19, 2015 at the UNESCO Premises.  Top winners of each category will be awarded during the ceremony.
