Civic Projects Architecture and
Mobile Makers Chicago have been engaged by the Museum of Science and Industry’s Education Department to explore the role that science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics can play in community-centric programming. Our team has partnered to guide workshops and conversations across Chicago. Our research partners also include
Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA
), an exhibition design and planning firm responsible for many famous museums and attractions around the world.
We want to understand how to expand access to science, play, and technology. We’re excited by the opportunity to redefine the role of museum education programming as a tool to connect within communities. This work may take form in different neighborhoods and this is where we would love to hear more from you!
