Summer JagCare 2025 Admission Application
Key reminders:
- JagCare is licensed by the Colorado Dept. of Human Services to supervise up to 48.00 children.
- JagCare must maintain a 1:15 staff-to-student ratio at all times, space available is dependent on staffing and our licensed square footage.

- JA Elementary Students--incoming 1st Grade through outgoing 6th Grade--are eligible to attend JagCare. Incoming Pre-K and Kindergarten students will not be eligible.


Admission opportunities will be awarded based on need, and then on a first come, first serve basis. In the interest of maximizing JagCare's limited program capacity, families seeking four (4) or more days of care each week will be awarded admission opportunities first. Families seeking to enroll their student(s) for three (3) days or less each week, will be awarded admission opportunities based on space available on a first come, first served basis.

This admission application does not apply to the school-year JagCare program admission process.

About Summer JagCare
For a third year in a row, JA JagCare will be hosting full day child care on the Jefferson Academy Elementary campus beginning on Monday, June 2 and ending on Friday, August 1. Summer JagCare will be closed on Thursday, June 19, and June 30 through July 4.

Field trips will be offered each week, while on-site days will bring with a variety of daily activities facilitated by JA JagCare staff and outside guests. 

Cost per Student:
Supply Fee - $100.00 per Student
Full Week (5 consecutive days) = $225.00
Single Day = $50.00
Drop-In Care = An additional $5.00 per session

Days of Care *
Admission opportunities will be awarded based on need, and then on a first come, first serve basis. In the interest of maximizing JagCare's limited program capacity, families seeking four (4) or more days of care each week will be awarded admission opportunities first. Families seeking to enroll their student(s) for three (3) days or less each week, will be awarded admission opportunities based on space available on a first come, first served basis.

*Families who initially seek four (4) or more days of care each week who fail to sign up for four (4) or more days of care each week will forfeit their student's admission into Summer JagCare 2025.

It is common for families to miss one to two weeks for vacations, work schedules, etc. This will not be a factor in determining eligibility.

The listed email representing the families with the highest number of days needed each week will receive an invitation to complete the admission process from JagCare's Program Director. Duplicate admission applications, including applications using separate email addresses for the same student, will not be accepted.

Completion of the admission process includes the signing and submission of the sent Summer JagCare Enrollment Agreement to JagCare Director prior to an assigned deadline. Completion of the admission process will secure your student(s) admission into the Summer JagCare 2025 program. Students will not be permitted to attend Summer JagCare until the enrollment process is complete. 

Completion of the enrollment process will permit students to attend Summer JagCare. The enrollment process includes the completion, submission and director-approval of required enrollment paperwork prior to an assigned deadline. 

Admission opportunities will be awarded based on need, and then on a first come, first serve basis. In the interest of maximizing JagCare's limited program capacity, families seeking four (4) or more days of care each week will be awarded admission opportunities first. Families seeking to enroll their student(s) for three (3) days or less each week, will be awarded admission opportunities based on space available on a first come, first served basis.

When JagCare has received the maximum number of enrolled students, a waitlist will be created. The waitlist will be in numerical order. Families will be assigned a waitlist number for each student listed on the admission application. Waitlist numbers will be assigned in the order in which a signed Summer JagCare Enrollment Agreement is submitted to JagCare Director.

In Summary

An enrollment agreement link will be sent initially with an assigned due date to the listed email address.
