I love to host other authors on my blog on Fridays in my Books, Chocolate and Wine column. So…if you would like to be a guest on my blog, choose one of the listed types of spots, read the instructions carefully, then fill out the form below. You can also email me at Ruth@RuthACasie.com, just put Blog Guest Post in the subject line. Let me know in the body of the email the type of post you’d like to do with at least 3 to 5 preferred dates. I work on a first come, first serve basis.

The types of posts:
1) Author Interview: I have a list of interview questions I can send you, or you can answer your own interview questions.

2) Character Interview: I have a list of character interview questions I can send you, or you can create your own.

3) Research or Craft: You can also write a post to share your writing experience or writing experience

4) Free Write: Write a blog post on any topic. Objectionable material will not be accepted. Approval of all posts is at my discretion.

5) Spotlight, cover reveal, etc. This post is a tag line, back cover copy (blurb), book cover image, buy links, an author biography and author headshot. It can also include 2 or 3 reviews an excerpt or a few of your favorite lines.

IMPORTANT – Please read the instructions:
When I contact you to schedule your guest spot I will ask you to:

Provide the information ALL IN ONE DOCUMENT, and attach the images (book covers and author headshot should be appx 300 x 400). Please provide the information one week before your scheduled blog, preferably sooner.
The subject line of your email should be Author Name, Scheduled Post Date.
For Example:
    • Ruth A. Casie 01-23

Each item you send (documents and images) should be named with:
Author Name, What your sending (post, book cover title, headshot), and Blog post Date.
For Example:
   • Ruth A. Casie Post 01-23
   • Ruth A. Casie The Guardian’s Witch 01-23
   • Ruth A. Casie Headshot 01-23

The document should contain the following information, in this order:
   1. Your post - please provide a title for your post
   2. Book Tag Line
   3. Blurb*
   4. Buy Links
   5. Excerpt (no more than 500 words, the shorter the better – I am happy to feature Erotic books, but the excerpt should
        not be very explicit)*
   6. Reviews*
   7. Bio*
   8. Contact/Social Media links
   9. Include at least 5 ‘tags’ or key words. They can be phrases, rather than just one word, i.e. Romantic Suspense,
         AwardWinning Author, etc.

*These are optional as is an author photo

If none of your dates are available, I will find a date as close to your preference as possible. Once we’ve settled on a date, I will request the info. Please include the scheduled date of the post in the subject line of the email you send.

Please note, I don’t host erotica. The final decision on what I post is mine.
